Our client is a leading Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) company, which it’s headquartering in Singapore. To strengthen their business for global market, with various design and manufacturing services, they have established their manufacture in Batam, Indonesia.
Currently they are looking for some qualified candidates to join in their Procurement/Purchasing Team.
Head of Purchasing
Responsibilities:
* Developing purchasing planning and execution
* Managing the team of buyers
* Providing strategic sourcing and inventory management
* Implementing a simple reporting system and ensuring the production of the report in regular basis
* Managing external database (Sub Contractor, Vendor, Consultant, purchasing network) and maintaining the relationship with them
* Maintaining an effective & proactive liaison with other departments
* Negotiating and ensuring the proper administration of purchasing contracts
* Cost saving, budgeting, and controlling
* Ensuring vendor quality and delivery schedule by periodic inspection and audit
* Encountering any issues between internal and external parties
Requirements:
* Experience in EMS industries and understanding about the process/parts will be an advantage
* Bachelor Degree in any related fields, especially Engineering
* Proficient in English is a must
* Minimum 5 years of working experience in similar role, with min. 3 years in managerial level
* Excellent communication, leadership, management and negotiation skills.
* Willing to be placed in Batam on Contract basis
