PT. Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MTU) is a mining company operating in Central Kalimantan. In the second quarter of 2007, MTU has been acquired by Asia Thai Mining Company Limited (ATM), a holding company incorporated in Thailand. ATM, either directly or through affiliated companies has an extensive experience in the development and operation of mining interests, particular in respect of coal mining interests. Through its subsidiaries, it is involved in the exploration and development of several coal mines in South East Asia. It targets million tons of coal to be delivered each year.
HRD Manager
In an effort to enhance morale and productivity, promote good governance, and help the organization increases performance and improves business results, the company is now seeking for a high caliber candidate, Indonesian, female or male, single, aged over 35, earned a bachelor’s degree or higher of any fields with excellent both spoken and written communication in English, strong computer and internet research skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, must demonstrate poise, tactfulness, and diplomacy in order to handle sensitive and confidential situations, to post the Human Resource Manager at the MTU Port in Teluk Betung, Barito Selatan, Kalimantan Tengah. Direct experience(human resource) is an essential part of a successful candidate. Roles and responsibilities:
* Handling employee benefits questions or recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff
* Regularly discuss with immediate supervisor to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plan and implementations
* Provide training and development opportunities to improve skills, and increase employees’ satisfaction with their jobs and working conditions
* Record information and answer questions about and for employees
* Compiling materials and maintaining employee database records, as well as sensitivity to confidential matters
* Manage the company’s performance evaluation system
* Conduct surveys to see how the company’s rates compare with others, and to ensure that the company’s pay scale complies with changing laws and regulations
* Acts as an interpreter and translator by converting Indonesian languages into English
* Relay concepts and ideas between Indonesian and expatriates
* Update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines
* Maintain procedures manual to ensure consistent performance of routines
* Check deadlines on incoming requests and put preliminary work in play
* Compiling materials and maintaining employee database records, as well as sensitivity to confidential matters
* Maintain solid customer relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
* Perform other special tasks as assigned
